Laughter and tears, fast and fun, 3 June 2006

I loved the movie, as did the rest of the audience. We laughed at times, had tears in our eyes at other points,then laughed again. There was even applause during the movie at some of the plot twists that surprised everyone. The guys were hot, the girls were hot, the film was fast moving and fun and some of the acting was really great. I've seen Michael Madsen in movies before, but never in a role like this and he really carried it off. Louis Gosset was a class act, as always. James Russo plays a not-so-nice doctor and was really believable in the part. The people that play poker loved the movie. I don't play poker and I loved the movie. Everyone left the theater smiling and feeling good. Is this movie on the same level as The Godfather or one of the other greatest movies ever made? Of course not, but it's not that kind of movie. I'd give it a solid 8 out of 10, and I can't wait to see it again.
