The Tetra Divine Spark is part of this quartet, featuring a refined and warm copper-toned dial, an in-house hand-wound movement, and the sleek Bauhaus minimalism associated with the brand.
Nomos wants people to know that its watches are made in Glashütte, the cradle of German watchmaking, but also wants people to know that its design team is based in Berlin's Berlinerblau studio. Fashionable young designers with a keen understanding of the design principles set forth by Walter Gropius at the Bauhaus in Germany have created a refreshing collection of watches with linear and Geometric shapes, distinctly no frills, and affordable prices. The "less is more" motto may be a guiding light, but that doesn't mean Nomos skimps on the details. Michael Paul, the designer of this Tetra Divine Spark, wanted the rich copper tone on the dial to bring "light and warmth" to the wrist. The watch, produced in the Glashütte Manufacture in Nomos, is marked "Made in Germany" Proud, synonymous with high quality and modern urban style.

Tetra (tetra means "four") is the only line of square watches from Nomos. There's the top-of-the-line gold Lux range with its rounded rectangular case, but for the pure square, the Tetra is unique. Available in three sizes – 27.5mm, 29.5mm and 33mm (with automatic movement) – most models in the Tetra collection are simple two-handed with small seconds, but there are also models with a power reserve indicator.
The Tetra Divine Spark measures 29.5mm x 29.5mm and has a very slim case height of just 6.3mm. The case is made of stainless steel with a screwed steel or sapphire crystal case back and is water resistant to 30 meters. The deceptively simple polished case is square, but the sides and edges of the case are rounded to produce a smooth, inviting finish. The double-stepped round lugs, clearly inspired by Art Deco motifs, add sophistication to the square case. The crown is larger for easy winding.
