5.Under settings click on Disable visual items and Disable desktop composition.
6. Click on run this program as an administrator.
7.Click 'OK'.
8.Click in mounted snpp6a directory Disk1>InstData>Windows>VM
9.Right click 'install' and repeat steps 3-7.
10.Double Click Install Starry Night Application launcher back in main snpp6a directory.
11. Install will take some time (10min). Upon prompt for second CD, point to second mounted drive for snpp6b to continue install (another 10min)
Note: Upon install prompt for some Dev components I got a msvbvm60.dll read error, but that was propably related to my user access rights (read but not modify...)
Note2: I got Adobe 8 but it'll prompt to install a older version..so don't do it if you already got it.
12. Now the 6.0.6 Update included in the torrent under consideration of steps 3-7 didn't work for me, neither did the start menu integrated Update function.
So in order to get it to work, I had to go to the 'Updater' under Windows Progam Files and repeat steps 3-7. Worked flawless!
After install of VB2005 etc.. it'll prompt for Quick Time install, which you can now install via redirect to Apple Website ..again under consideration of steps 3-7.
13..If I haven't mentionned it enough: prior to clicking on the Application launcher..indeed ..repeat steps 3-7 (if needed).
14. Get a Registration Number (optionally ot get upates on files)
