It seems that this format doesn't run on a VLC player, since I got only audio and no video.

I understand pushing this new standard for users with more modern gear, and I assume it's better compression-wise, but I'd rather see an X264 version side by side with it until we all can catch up.

Yes, I figured that the problem might be due to a missing codec.
