I would love to watch the lecture but I simply do not have the time right now. but I did click it around and I think I got the premise. they say its wrong because Mary said that the temple should be built in her name and not in God's. I completely understand how this might concern you from your strictly christian perspective. however, from my not-limited-to-the-Bible-only perspective, I would tell you that the Muslims reject your worship of Yeshua on that same premise. a wider perspective can be achieved via the Hindu teachings where only the One Living God is worshiped, however worship of avatars is also permitted as a method of salvation for those that are less devoted and not as strong in faith. worship of only the One Living God is considered very difficult and attached to lots of trials and suffering which are spared for those who worship avatars. but in heaven they earn a smaller reward. that is my opinion.
so on the basis of this I dont think the apparition was fake or a demon or whatever. it was simply a means of salvation for those poor and uneducated people then.
